I like Duran. Think given more time & experience he'll be a top, top forward.

Me too.  We need to start trusting him more.

Football Insider (I know) saying Man City will listen to offers for Jack Grealish this summer. I don't think Emery would want him, and we don't need him,  but it would be interesting to see where he might end up. I could see him doing well at Chelsea. I think part of the reason Palmer had had such a good season there is that he's just let do what he wants. They're not a proper team, there's no structure or style of play. It would probably be the perfect place for Grealish to undo the Pep brainwashing.

I think it's clear where we need to improve. Our goals for match the top 3, our goals against are 20 worse. This is despite having the best goalkeeper in the world. Full backs, defensive midfield & back up for Watkins.

I think he'd be a disaster there. He's never going to provide the sorts of tangible returns that Cole Palmer has, and the youngster is 7 years his junior. Chelsea look like a disorganised rabble, so I don't think you'd want to add to that really. He's probably be better off at somewhere like Man U, assuming they get a decent manager, or Newcastle. As long as it's not us.

Newcastle or Spurs would be my bet, although crossing the city to Man Utd wouldn’t be beyond the realms of belief.
I do wonder if he’d be better off going to play in Spain, though

The big thing with Grealish is his ridiculous salary. Not many teams could afford even a third of it.

He's 3 years into a 6 year contract, they'll be lucky to get half what they paid & very few teams will want to give him £300k+ / week. Especially based on the return he's given City during the previous 3 years.

Can't see us adding that many new faces assuming the injured brigade are fit. The 2 loanees will go back, I'd expect Donk, Sanson, Chambers and Olsen will be sold too. Hoping we keep Digne and Carlos. All of the current squad are likeable, what a great time to be a Villa fan!

Supposedly we are looking at Marc Cucurella from Chelsea according to Football.London, this will help them with their FFP problem if we buy him, which would be so nice of us!!!

We were getting linked with United players like Sancho all summer last year. That's just someone at their end trying to move players on.

Grealish doesn't strike me as an Emery player. Emery's talked about how football should be a player's priority, and their focus. Grealish enjoys partying too much for Emery.

Idiots. So we already have 2 quality left backs, let’s add the lesser known member of the Hair Bear bunch. Jesus Chris that’s woeful tittletattle.

The beauty of Emery is that he's built a team, no individual stuff, which Grealish would create.  I'm keen to see what Buendia and Rogers can do, rather than look at Grealish.  A DCM for me please. Possibly a left winger.

GK - Martinez/Olsen/Gauci
LB - Digne/Moreno
LCB - Torres/Mings
RCB - Konsa/Carlos
RB - Cash/Nedeljkovic
CM - Luiz/Tielemans/Kamara/Mcginn
LM - Rogers/Ramsey
RM - Bailey/Mcginn
10 - Diaby/Buendia
CF - Watkins/Duran

I've put in Mcginn twice as he's equally comfortable in either position. This is a hell of a squad on paper although it does assume the players with long term injuries get back to their best. I have a bad feeling Digne will leave which would be disappointing as he has been so good this season. Maybe we will keep it tight this summer and only make one marquee signing (Nico Williams?) plus cover any who leave either permanently or on loan.
