Looks like we are prioritising this competition over 4th place.

Looks to me like he knows we need a win, for momentum as well as the obvious.

If this line up works, Ajax will be in for a tough night which will really piss on their chips. (and Mayo).

It's a 'can't win' situation for him, really, either way.

Let's fucking go for it. Win this competition and we're Europa League *at least* depending on how we finish in the league. It's not a no-win situation.

And 4th is more likely to be 5th and above if we win it, too.

What is the point in getting all excited about qualifying for Europe only to then shit the bed at the first sight of it being a challenge?

This. Ghost of Moscow still haunts me.

Wow fucking hell. Only downside is we have veey weak bench

I'd probably have stuck Duran and Tielemans in for Martinez and Pau.

Is Duran any good in goal?

Doesn't matter, he'd be playing rush anyway.

Let’s hope we have the same attitude as West Ham are showing tonight in their last 16 game and cruising into the QF of the Europa. We need to start the game fast and get into them. No reason we should be beaten tonight if our attitude is right.

This is the only competition we're in with a shout of winning this season, so we should be giving it everything we've got.

This. Get the tulip growing, windmill enthusiast, Edam eating, Amstel drinking, Sean Connery sounding, canal loving, weed smoking, orange wearing bicycle riding bastards with an all out attack attack attack! (I do love the Dutch as best boss I had was Dutch) display of sheer bastardry and funeralling the likes of which will echo through the ages. The soap sounding bastards

West Ham have already got a massive advantage on us as they’ll have had 2 hours more rest!!
