Nasty tackle but red? Not sure about that.

Our day just gets better and better.

Players should be getting sent off for that, no complaints from me one little bit. Cynical and way too aggressive. If it's just a little tap it's a yellow.

Poor from SJM and we'll miss him v West Ham and Wolves.

What a catastrophic 20 minutes of the season this is.

This is why we'll drop off next season even if we make CL as we'll be too flat playing 3-4 days after high intensity CL matches and with FFP issues I can't see us improving the squad that much.

Yes I agree. Having seen it again, definite red. Case of claret and blue goggles.

After mcginn going on about the importance of today, to get sent off is shocking. Certainly not champions league mentality that

We have such an unenviable history of bottling big games when they come around.

Oh well. At least McGinn gets a rest, so he'll be nice and fresh for the run-in.

Diaby as useless as usual.

It's extremely disappointing and raises serious questions that we can spend so much money on a player that looks so poor every bloody time he plays. Johnson went to Spurs for a few million less and looks a bargain in comparison.
