Why do people think we’ll lose at Fulham?
we are generally shite when we go there

And our away form, an atrocious Sheffield United aside, is generally not that great.

We have the 6th best away record in the league.

I know that, but generally we don't play very well. Certainly not compared to the home form, before this shit run started anyway.

Man United never play well and yet they seemingly have the recipie to have the 5th best away record in the league. Our form away is good, even if our fan connectivity, style imposition and our demands are somewhat lessened.

This is our first Saturday 3pm away, they're a mid-table floater, nothing to fear, history be damned, JJ on the cusp of being back to his electric normal self. Pau looking like Pirlo with his passing. We're re having them. Up to 4th best away record we go!

I can see why players talk about taking one game at a time.

Fulham away is difficult enough. They're capable of playing some good stuff at times. Let's see how we fare in that one first.

Hopefully Pau plays. Not convinced he will though.

This is where JJ shines bright like a diamond. Tom Cairney won't know what's hit'im.

Fulham don't score many lately but they have beaten Bournemouth and Arsenal at home in 2024.

It's a tough game as they have quality in central midfield so can expose us having to re-jig the midfield in Kamara's absence.

Feels a battling 1-1. We must win the next two after that especially Luton away as Manchester derby is that weekend so that's our best chance of getting at least a 5 point lead again on Man. United if not more.

We're in a tough moment, definitely.  The positive is that the last performance was pretty good, and the loss unwarranted.  We do need to start winning again though, and soon.  Fulham beat Bournemouth, but it was their first league win 2024 (and against a Bournemouth team whose form has fallen away worse than ours, with only 2 points from the last 5 games).

I see no reason why we can't win the next 3 games, and go into the Spurs game full of confidence.

We will win at least four of next five.
Pau and Ezri coming back.
We’re still in the Hunt for top four.

I like the optimism here but, sadly, I’m not feeling it. One good performance, against a top half Manure, doesn’t convince me that we have really turned a corner yet. Points on the board are what matters and, I really don’t see us getting much at Fulham. My thoughts are based on the fact that I don’t think Torres is truly fit, Konsa will be out for a while and Kamara being injured now will probably mean he won’t play for the rest of this season…it’s the Villa way!’
Even if some of the injured players come back we all know that, being Villa, it will take them at least 6 matches to get back up to speed.
Trying to stay positive but, since the Arsenal match, can’t see that much to be positive about. Prove me wrong Villa!!

Think we'll get 8-10, God knows in which games. I think Forest, weirdly Spurs and maybe Luton. Fulham draw.
