We either score or conced in the first 5 minutes after the restart and that will decide the game.

This is precisely what will happen. It drives me nuts, it’s so predictable.

Yep and I suspect it’s the second scenario. We’re conceding some crap goals at the moment, and look ponderous when looking for the opportunity to shoot in attack.

Just cut the corners out and we can win this.

Think we've played pretty well there.  Tempo been much better and played some good stuff.

As for the ref, it's the same story as it's been for decades against these.  He's let them get away with time wasting at every opportunity, given them very soft fouls and only given us decisions when he's absolutely had to.

Just need to keep up the tempo in the second half and I think we'll get a point at least from this.

We're the better team, but we knew that beforehand, and when has that ever made any difference against these twats?

I've counted numerous strange decisions by the officials so far.

Regarding the non booking of cuntface, the mind boggles.

It's a toss up to who I'd feed first to an army of leaf cutter ants - him or the ref.

Lenglet booked. Bring on Pau.

Ideal opportunity but think he would have started Torres if he was in any way fit. To be fair despite all my criticism of him before the game Carlos has stopped two goals. Watkins at fault badly for their goal.

After a very ropey first 15 mins, we dominated the next 35. Playing our best football in weeks. Watkins dominating Varane, Luiz all over Mainoo, Ramsey causing a lot of problems despite poor decisions at key moments. McGinn much more involved in that 10 role than he was at Old Trafford. Most players miles better than during the week. Ollie missed the big chance but Bailey and Ramsey could have done better with other half chances.

Their two holding midfielders are booked and Maguire can't play out from our press. Big opportunity for us.

Kind of same as against Newcastle, we playing some nice football, they have big CB that we dont manage to come through and those CB s help them to score on a corner. We are not lost though as feared but if nothing changes second half they will have a second goal from corner and we will play nicely and produce chances but no clearcuts or goals. Seems to me though that we ve not been able to change anything lately so still pessimistic.

Huh? It’s night and day from the Jaudis game.  We’ve been way more like our true selves this evening.

They will go ultra defensive and look to hit us on the break.

Surprised by the comments about Ramsay - looking a threat I thought

His running with the ball is causing them huge problems, first touch a bit ropey. But our left flank looks so much better today than it has in weeks.

I think the final pass is missing from him at the moment, but he's getting closer to full fitness and it will come.

He’s looking dangerous, lacking a little bit of final product but generally gives us far more balance.

He's looking better each game. He needs a goal for his confidence

Can't help but feeling that those last twenty minutes were when we should have at least equalised.
