Aston Villa vs Manchester United pre-match thread
« on: February 07, 2024, 11:43:27 PM »
Sunday, 4:30pm kick-off.

Well it's time to forget tonight's result in my opinion.

That loss at OT should be fresh in their minds and they should be determined to put it right.

We'll win and everything will be calm again.

3-1 Villa.

I was optimistic till I realised TV hadn't started the pre-match thread.

Ah f*ck it, I won't abandon the good ship Smirker just yet. 3-2 to Villa boys, we owe them that.

Fucking no chance based on the last two home performances which were as bad as anything served up under fucking Garde, never mind Gerrard.

No but we played well in the last game and we could play well in the next game.

We're playing more mid table shite, who have the wood on us and the home form has totally collapsed. The performances are fucking chronic, never mind the results. We'll get the 5 or 6 hammering we absolutely deserved tonight and against Newcastle if we put in as disgusting a display as that again.

A stirring 2-2

But they'll no doubt, with a shaved eyebrow or stupid goal celebration, cheat and win.

The absolute ******

Based on tonight I expect us to get a hammering, needs a complete turnaround to avoid that.

If Carlos and Lenglet are our CBs then I fear the worst, and I’m not even sure Torres can carry either of those pair over 90+ minutes. It’s not looking good.
