He will be, and we'll have a kid there too. You need 2 'keepers on the bench in Europe.

He has been on the bench for all the European games since he's arrived along with Olsen so history suggests he will be  ???

It'll be James Wright (or Sam Proctor) as third keeper in matchday squad. Emery isn't in the European squad as a youth player, probably because he hasn't been here two years

You can register any number of qualifying youth players up to the day before the match. Gauci won't qualify as Bully says, but it's because he's 23.

We added him to the squad - https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaconferenceleague/clubs/52683--aston-villa/squad/

I'm convinced Gaucci is going to get some game time in one of the semi or at Brighton.
I have an inkling he may have to come on for Olson.
Its quite a strong feeling that going to see him in goal.
I'm convinced.

No chance… (unless Olsen chucks a few into the net)

So a distinct possibility then?

Olsen was specifically praised by Emery in the pre- match press conference, so Gauci will only get a game through injury.

It would be an utterly bizarre decision to make unless there is an injury.

Indeed, there is absolutely no chance of that unless there is an injury.

Yes my gut sensation telling me there's an opportunity for him.
Don't know if it's injury , sending off or selection but theres a feeling I have that's all.
