He’ll regret it.

Maybe, but that’s not our problem.  ;D

The fact that the first two players through the door pre Morgan Rogers going are Manzambi and Gomes* suggests we might play a different way and are going for younger profile. This was going to happen eventually. We squeezed the last lemon dry. Now for a newer more dynamic style of Villa player to herald in a new era

Yep, defo.

I think we need to get into Europe again, ideally Europa or above, but this season is about the restructure.

Winning that club world cup would of helped. But sell and sell well...look up how much they brought in from player sales, it's a lot.

I can remember plenty of times we were asking him to be benched, or subbed last season.

Will be a big miss, but I have expected him to leave since January

Chelsea is a shit choice, and smacks of pure greed to me sadly. If it were Arsenal then I would see the draw, it is what it is though.

Imagine the £117m is up front with some add ons too?

Need to invest very wisely now

It's a shame, but the rules of football are fucking shite and so needs must.

We're getting ££££££££, which is the main thing.

As long as we spend it wisely, this should end up improving us in the long run.

I am no longer attached emotionally to players, too many have gone over the decades. Spend the money well Sir Unai

He is so inconsistent that £117m is great deal.
Pays for two or three prospect players to rebuild.
I expect Jack will be back too.

No mention of add ons and most most transfer this large usually are on drip. I think we have a quite a bit owing to other clubs next year for player recruitment so we might have to put some in the piggy bank.

Transfers are rarely paid in full up front.

Where does this obsession with Gibbs-White come from?

That’s just cash flow, which we don’t have an issue with. How and when deals are paid make no difference to the profit/loss figures that we are judged on.

I never mentioned profit or loss anywhere.

Probably 15 goals and 4 assists in the league, despite Forest struggling.
