You don’t name a price unless he’s for sale. Time to shit or get off the pot Chelsea or Arsenal.

Both sides are "anchoring" by releasing extreme valuations.  Get a number out there (early/loudly) and all negotiations will be linked to that figure.  Boris Johnson's Brexit bus for example.

I thought it was understood that our policy is to state a price and tell the player that he only goes if someone meets that valuation. Also dependant on the player wanting a move.
It doesn’t work if the player cuts up rough and try’s to force a club to sell at a lower price see Isaac. I think Newcastle did everyone a favour by getting the full price from Liverpool.
You could definitely see those twats at Arsenal trying it on, hopefully Rogers isn’t that type.

Every player on the planet is for sale at the right price. By saying 130m minimum we've hopefully put off anyone wasting our time with low ball offers. And at least it indicates there's no buyout clause at a lower price.

Agreed. For £130m, it would be a fair deal.
