I know but we keep saying that and we still move forward. Yorke, Milner, Young, Jack, Barry etc. They all left and won loads of trophies at clubs where the chance was greater. We are just in a better spot now to maintain our trajectory but even then it's no guarantee that we will continue to stay where we are and win things.

Well, the going rate is £120m thank you very much which would leave us with £96m to play with after Boro take their share.

Anything less and he stays. My guess is they want him on the cheap and think "the going rate" is £80m which would leave us with just £64m.
