Enjoy him whilst he’s here. I fear he’ll be gone within the next 12 months. Villa player performs well for England….we all know what happens next, a tale as old as time.

I'd say our finances will dictate that he goes with our blessing.

Correct, many more performances like last night and the vultures will be overhead,  and in our financial predicament anything north of £85M will not be turned down sadly.

Well it depends if they're willing to give us any money. If he's sad enough to want to go to Saudi Arabia then we can live it up, Scrooge McDuck style, in a swimming pool full of ethically dubious Riyal. If he has his heart set on a move to Man U then we need to brace ourselves for a loan offer with a £20 voucher to spend anywhere you like in the Arndale Centre (offer not valid weekends or bank holidays).

Lots of conclusions there, in reality little will be learned by England beating Serbia, Wales & Latvia. Bellingham is a tough one, a nightmare to manage I suspect off the field and on it with his lack of tactical discipline. I didn't realise, as per media reports, he was openly criticising Southgate from the pitch during the Euros final. He reminded me of Gerrard during that tournament, the odd spectacular moment while in general unbalancing the team.

Tuchel has shown some steel here leaving him out, the reasons given are watery enough, but in a WC squad it's surely better to be looking at him than for him. Would be some call to leave him out. Long road back for likes of Foden and Grealish who have started the season well. I'd always have Grealish in as he's a good sub if nothing else. Wharton is a very good midfielder too, there's only so much Henderson for example can bring.

Rogers has obviously done very well, club performances have been very patchy so far this season but small improvements in recent games. Same as Watkins their goals last night won't hurt confidence levels. But Spurs away will be a much tougher test.

Bellingham increasingly strikes me like a total bellend.  All the 'who else' stuff when he scored that overhead kick.  Like Phil Foden, pundits rave about him without much in the way of actual / genuine performances  of note, especially for England.  They hype far, far outweighs the talent in my opinion.

As for Rogers, he'll be gone within 12 months.

He tried harder in an England shirt not to fuck-up with every pass like he does at Villa. Take the 90 million and let's get the 2025 versions of Bailey, Ings and Buendia in.

You can nearly always take at least a third off the price that we want, it seems to me. Unless the Saudis are involved.

Bellingham and Foden are very different for me.

Foden is shit for England and would probably be pretty shit for most clubs because he's been coached to do a very specific job on a very specific team. Even though he's playing well he'd be nowhere near the England squad for me because he's never looked a good fit.

Bellingham has plenty of talent and has shown he can do it with different teams and working with different managers. His problem in the last couple of years is that he has completely taken on all the hype and now thinks he's on a different level to the rest of the England squad and that hubris is making him a worse player.

On topic I don't really see why everyone is so convinced Rogers is definitely going to leave, he's given no real indication that he wants to go but for some of you a few good performances has to you convinced that there's no chance a player wants to stay.

That's a bit harsh, it's nice for him to be right now and again.

Atm, £100m for him in the summer just gone and then invested well (key) looks like it would have been smart business even though it would have pissed us all off.
