All the numbers are "against" us. Unbeaten at home in the League for almost a year, always beat Newcastle to nil, they have not had much to shout about up here since 2013 etc etc. I don't like stats like this as......

We are top of the home form table, Newcastle are second from bottom in away form.

We just need to show proper intent and intensity. Pau is a big miss, but the others need to step up. It’s really important we win this game.

Just depends on how many chances our defenders want to put on a plate for them. Obviously though, they’ve then got to get past Emi after that!!

Martinez

Cash
Konsa
Lenglet
Moreno

McGinn
Luiz
Kamara
Bailey

Tielemans
Watkins

Almost certainly will be this. Unless Emery wants to try to play Diaby into form, in which he could be in in place of Tielemans, but I'd definitely choose this starting line up.

Not so sure, as we went with the narrow 4-4-2 formation against them at home last year and it worked a treat.  If we were to go with that formation again then only change to the above team woukd be Diaby in for Bailey I guess.

No ifs  no buts , we have to get a win tonight or else the doubts start to creep in the media , also how come a load of seats in all stands have suddenly become available

These are about 500 ST seats where ST holders can't be there so they are selling their seats through the club. These resales are only put up when ground is sold out.

You'd imagine they've just released the resale tickets, which is a bit late.  You're right it's a surprising amount.

8.15 kick off on a school night is very late, with extra time now it's probably not going to finish til at least 10.30, so a lot of people won't be getting home until after 11.30. Be closer to 1am for me.

They wont release resale tickets until all the seats are sold.
All the ones that were left were single seats.
Its piss poor.

Yeah, I hate this kick-off time, it's disgusting. I can never go straight to bed after I get in either, so by the time I've had a cuppa and chilled for a bit, it's going to be midnight.

And they wonder why we “don’t sell out”. Almost like they want it to look like there’s no need for the capacity increase.
