We haven't played them at home since the 'wipe the floor with us' game.

Incredible comment. Not exactly early 90s Milan were they?

That is the main difference nowadays -  we matter day to day. For the first time in many a year. Probably since mid 90s

Zaniolo needs more minutes and Diaby less.

I think Zaniolo has looked good in the little minutes he has got and Diaby looks lost but happy to get a draw.

Emi was ace and a few others still way off.

But we are in the draw .

I think with how we play, slowing the game down, then it's probably worth it. We're not utilising Diaby's pace, that's not to say he still hasn't been poor.

I’m Yet to see this pace you speak of

Need to get on FIFA John (well EA Sports FC now), you'll have fun with his pace! It's there somewhere, I think how we play just isn't that conducive to it, hence not seeing it much.

Chelsea worked their socks off first half closing us down forcing us to play long passes out but as expected they tired quickly second half and I thought we should have nicked it but not too disappointed getting them back to Villa Park.

We didn't create many chances for Ollie again but hopefully we will create more against the Toon in a few days. Still waiting for Diaby to improve his form, I think he will put in some better displays eventually hopefully sooner rsther than later.

We often seem to soak it all up and then gor for it late on when the opposition tire. Nearly worked.

I didn’t recognise Zaniolo with his new Blonde Barnet.

Imagine it 15 months ago when El Affitaq's newly-recontracted manager was our fucking leader.

He was never a "leader".

That Lenglet mistake pass the other night was one of the worst you’ll ever see
Literally gave it to their player right in front of the goal on a plate, the more you see it the more you realise how unbelievably bad it was
If you didn’t know better you say it was match fixing sort of stuff apart from if it was it would have been too obvious even for that

you can’t be doing things like that and pretending you’re any good, absolute liability

That save by Martinez after Lenglet’s error was in front of us. It was interesting to see Martinez hugging him after and telling him to get on with it. Very different story a minute or two later when Konsa was giving Moreno absolute pelters after an attack down our left that led to another corner.

Quite. I thought for a minute we'd signed Simon Le Bon; his blonde bob was accentuated by the fact we were looking down on him from the upper tier.
