Cash Chambers Lenglet Moreno
Zaniolo Tim Luiz Tielemans Diaby
Rogers
My friend, we are playing Ajax in the last 16 of a European competition not Walsall in a pre season friendly.

Yeah that's far too weak a side. He might make a couple of changes but that's it.

Now Konsa is back, and as he did similar against Arse and Citeh at home, I wonder if has considered Konsa on the right instead of Cash and then Torres and Lenglet in the centre. He tried out a couple of formations like that in the Conference matches prior to the prem match. Obviously part of that was supposedly for Carlos physicality at corners though, which we still wouldn't have.

I think he'll keep Lenglet for Ajax and save Pau for Spurs.

Perhaps the only positive of the injuries that we have had this season is that quite a few of our squad have not got the miles in their legs you might have expected by this stage of the season - aside from Emi, Dougie, Ollie and SJM pretty much everyone else has had a break at some point.  We've also got another 2 week gap between fixtures coming up, so there is definitely not the need to be resting too many players at this stage.

That would make sense.  I wonder how Konsa will be feeling after 90 mins on Saturday.  Hopefully he'll be able to cope.

Yep Lenglet has shown in all the ECL matches so far he’s more than capable. Save Pau for Spurs. I’d play Digne in this one and save Moreno for Spurs as well. Let’s hope Ramseys injury is just a niggle and nothing too serious and he can play a part against Spurs.

Martinez

Cash
Konsa
Lenglet
Digne

McGinn
Luiz
Tielemans
Ireogbunam

Watkins
Diaby.

I think that should be enough to not loose with a few decent options to change it up as necessary.

For those that have made the previous European aways, what's the procedure once you've submitted the travel form?

I'm assuming we should receive some sort of voucher to hand over to the ticket crew in Amsterdam on the day of the match, but how/when should we receive this voucher?

Heres all the info - not sure if you have seen it already, all the other aways have been failry quick at picking tickets up, spread over both wednesday and thursday this time...which is sensible as there were normally only 2 or 3 people handing tickets out.

Although the initial confirmatory email states you can use either passport or driving licence as photo i.d , these details (and an earlier poster who had telephoned) clarify that only the PASSPORT will be accepted.

I don't get this mentality.

Win as few as 4 of the next 7 games and we'll win our first proper trophy in over quarter of a century and our second ever European title, the last being over 40 years ago.  Realistically, we are strong favourites to win now.  On paper, there isn't a team in the competition we shouldn't comfortably beat over 2 legs.  Not. A. Single. One.

Now, obviously there's the memory of Bradford etc where even something we should win easily isn't absolutely guaranteed.  But for heaven's sake, we've got the best manager in Europe here, and the strongest, deepest squad (relative to the ones around us) that we've had in at least 30 years.  I think we're more than capable of fighting battles on two fronts here.

I know of some that are landing at 3:30pm on Thursday.  You have to collect you tickets before 4pm, 2:45 before kick off.

There was fog on the morning of the Alkmaar trip and we sat on the runway for a couple of hours, made it in plenty of time thankfully but the Villa staff had said they would take tickets to the ground to be collected due to the travel problems. However anyone flying in that late is really taking a gamble with no delays etc
