There's also a museum of bags and purses

the Heineken museum is good if you get time

It's a 2 hour queue for the bar.

Hoping for all reaming English teams to do well. Wins all round.

Yes, I too hope they go deep into the competition.

West Ham especially playing a German team. Up the coefficient.

the Heineken museum is good if you get time

Especially if it's your birthday.

And/or you enjoy drinking lukewarm urine.

You must have stumbled into the Museum of Watersports. Those Dutch eh, what are they like?
A bit like Germans with a sense of humour

I wish you lot were being truthful. You’re not really going to Amsterdam for the footie are you??!!

Amsterdam is particularly well-served when it comes to museums, with ones dedicated to Rembrandt, Van Gogh & Anne Frank.
Why are you ignoring famous artists called Porn and Cannabis   they both have several museums?

I was logged in at quarter-to ready to start hitting F5.  There's still plenty left.

Only looked in a block in upper north and upper holte, as you say plenty left. Sure it’ll be pretty much a sell out.
As at now 4294 tickets left, not many in Holte - Approx. 1000 in Upper North, just under 100 in Lower North, Approx. 800 in Upper Witton, Approx 120 in Lower Witton, 130 in Lower Holte, 138 in Upper Holte and just over 2000 in Trinity. Guess there won't be many left for General Sale from Monday onwards.

I saw Porn & Cannabis's Edinburgh show in the 90s. Lots of hard laughter.

It's mad how times change.

Just looked at the last time me and my mates went to Amsterdam. We'd just beaten Boro 3-0 to slip into the last playoff place, four games into the ten game winning run.

To think that five years later, we'd be heading back to play Ajax for a european quarter final place, while ensconced in the top four of the Prem with one of the best managers in football at the helm...  ;D

This is quite good, giving an example of the sort of route needed for fifth to be Champions League qualification.

Basically, as long as us, Liverpool and Man City get to the finals / semis bit of the competition and no more than one or two of the German clubs does anything really unexpected, then it should be fine. I reckon if it doesn't happen, it'll probably be Leverkusen's fault.

What English clubs need to do in order to secure extra Champions League spot next season?

- Two finals, one SF, two QFs, one R16?

Maybe. Let's dive together into it.

Firstly, commiserations to those fans who were frustrated, disappointed or thoroughly annoyed by the site yesterday and couldn't get a ticket for the game.
Miraculously, I managed to secure mine by 10.03. After over sixty years of following Villa I finally get to see them away in Europe...and what a tasty game and venue.  Despite being a season ticket holder for many years, professional and family commitments meant I couldn't get to games on the continent. (I can recall how jealous I was that tickets for that wonderful night in Rotterdam went on general sale).
Thanks to Unai, we are back on the European trail and now I'm retired, I'm lucky enough to have the time and resources to go abroad. I booked Amsterdam in October but couldn't get an Alkmaar ticket and watched the game with fellow Villains in a bar. This time I'll get to see the real thing.
I'm travelling solo so am looking forward to reading here about where Villains are meeting up.
I'll be taking in the Van Gogh museum this time. Those who like Banksy might want to explore the Moco museum.
To those who missed out....your time will hopefully come.
To those who will be there...see you in Amsterdam and UTV.

Fantastic we have these European adventurers to plan and enjoy again, you clearly seem to have ‘earned’ this trip.

Enjoy it thoroughly!
