Mmm, this is so we get a good price in the summer isnt it?
No, not necessarily. Emery has shown a lot of faith in the boy. And until Kamara is re-contracted, DMF is an area we need to keep strong.

I would like to see him in midfield alongside Kamara with a full strength defence behind him.  I think he would show us how good he is.

Couldn't even make the bench on Sat.

Hope this means we get an extra 5m from Ajax in the summer.

Only messin'. Hopefully. He's our greatest utilitarian since Simon "Larry" Grayson and Ricky Scimeca.

Not forgetting Chris Herd...the Utility player's utility player.

He's an ideal player for a European squad. I like him.

Could Carl Tiler put in a shift as a "6"?

Played okay today from the bits I saw.

Crucially it’s progress that he’s being selected rather than forcing more established players to move out of position.  Could be a big season as the Europa seems the perfect platform for him.

He played fine today. Not sure on his ceiling as a player but he's clearly going to play plenty of minutes this season as a month in and Barkley, Onana, Kamara and now Tielemans are all unavailable for various reasons.

Amusing a Cardiff fan actually started the thread. He didn't even go on loan to them in the end!

Crap on the ball. Which isn't good when you're a midfielder.

Harsh, he was far from the biggest problem today.

He's probably fifth choice in there. Did ok in second, won the ball back a bit and had energy anyway. Granted he was up against Gueye/Iroegbunam who would struggle in the championship.

Another start for him during the week.
