Great win. Clearly someone that end said something beyond the usual for watkins to react as he did. Was explaining it to Frank at the end too by the looks of it.

Out of character for Watkins so something more to that. He vanished down the tunnel pretty quickly as well.

He was also very clearly explaining something to Thomas Frank and pointing towards the fan. Makes me think there was a particularly egregious comment.

Yes, he seemed to be explaining it to Thomas Frank as he went down the tunnel. I wonder if he will go into any detail publicly.

That was a great result and shows something really special - no matter what, when the chips are down, this team ain't beat. Winnera are not made of champagne football week in, week out - on ocassion you have to grind out the result and boy, did we do that today. Hats off to everyone.

Ben Mee - 100% C.U.N.T - simple as that. The league will be better off when he's gone for good.

And the referee - jesus, what is going on with PGMOL. Not fit to officiate my 7yr old's Sunday kick-about, an absolute shit show.

I love this team. I love Unai. UTV

Cannot stand playing Brentford, especially on their patch. It was looking like another one of those days. Ben Mee is the undisputed King of Shithouse Thuggery.

What a crazy game.

Generally, we've been quite good in terms of our discipline so it's disappointing to see all that bollocks going on at the end. Kamara's got himself a very needless red card all coming from Emi taking his shithousing a bit too far. I do love Emi taking the piss a bit, but there's a limit and he's led to an avoidable situation. Ollie shouldn't be winding up the home fans either, no matter if they've been at him during the game.

Anyway, that aside, Bailey made a difference again and I'm hoping he's fit enough to start the next game. But Leon my son...please...NO BACK PASSES! Shitting hell.

What on Earth has happened to Diaby? He never seems to drive at defenders any more. He needs some kind of spark but I suspect that will have to happen at Villa park.

Thought Zaniolo did well when he came on. Bought a couple of clever fouls to take the sting out of the game too.

I'm really hoping Moreno and JJ can get tuned in and up to full swing in the next couple of weeks. The ring rust is clear but a goal for Moreno certainly helps.

Didn't play that well but we won. Job done. More importantly, we won at a ground where we seem to struggle. Unai is undoubtedly going to be dishing out some bollockings though.

Today I learned pushing someone’s collar bone is violent conduct, but a leg breaking tackle goes to a 5 minute review.. just in case, of course.

You know our discipline went out the window when even Emery got booked.

Not sure we'd have got anything if it wasn't for the stupidity of that hired thug Mee, so cheers for the points Ben.

Did well to see that out in the mad last 15 mins though.  For years we were far too nice, even under MON.  This team's different, we will not be fucked around with.

Obviously a great result, but the Kamara red card leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Feels like poor game management to let ourselves get drawn into that when we were leading in injury time. I’m worried about the consequences of going into some tough games without our best central midfield pairing.

Agree with this. Great win though, really hard fought in the end. Diego had a great game I thought. Ironic that the filthy prick Mee helped us gain the momentum to go on and win, thanks Ben.

Great win and although Kamara’s red was silly it shows we have some backbone and won’t be shoved around.
There’s a chance for someone to come in and show what they’re made of now. We’ll have much bigger issues in the months ahead so let’s see what the squad is made of.

Fantastic team spirit on a day we didn’t click,

I will never understand not playing Konsa in the middle despite the City game but who am I to question Unai.

Two sendings off completely changed the game at different points.

We will miss Kamara but hopefully cope.

Good to see Ollie score again!
