Foodbank collection tomorrow
« on: December 08, 2023, 12:29:45 PM »
Aston & Nechells Foodbank will be collecting before the match tomorrow; cash and food donations welcome.

Anyone who thought it was safe to come down the match with their money over the past few years may have to think again.

Around the ground I believe but food can be dropped off at the church.

Very nice to hear this and Villa supporting the local community.

If it's ok I posted this as wasn't familiar myself and I thought could share including chance to donate online

https://astonnechells.foodbank.org.uk/

For those not attending

ONE OFF GIVING:
Online –  We have now got a new online giving page.  If you would like to make a donation in this way or set up a fundraising page, please visit:

The justgiving site will ask if your donation can have gift aid added.  If you are able (applicable to UK taxpayers) this will increase the value of your gift at no cost to yourself.

If you would prefer you can make an online bank transfer using the details on the Standing Order form.  Please let us know by emailing info@astonnechells.foodbank.org.uk if you are donating in this way.  If applicable please can you also send us a Gift Aid declaration when sending the donation.

Cheques – To make a donation by cheque, please make payable to “CAN DO 4:13” and send to Mr Bob Trotman, Aston Parish Church, Witton Lane, Aston, Birmingham B6 6QA.  If applicable please can you also send a Gift Aid declaration with your donation.

That's from the official site.
Apologies if this is not allowed. I just thought for those who may not be attending or not wanting/able to donate at the match but still want to give.

Saw the guys collecting outside the Church on the walk to the ground.  They all deserve a big well done for their efforts.
