Good chance we rest a fair few players for this.

Mind you, they may have the League Cup on their minds as well.

I'd go stronger than that, particularly in midfield.

We want to win the Cup, and Boro at home are no mugs.

I get what you're saying but it's an unrealistic expectation in the modern world of football.

Disagree, we have a very light schedule of games in January, 2 League Games and potentially 2 FA Cup games.

100% full strength, it’s a trophy at the end the of the day, much much more important than finishing 4th in the league…you win a cup not just a two legged tie to maybe join the Champions League next season.  Reason 125 as to why football at this level has gone to hell….

FA Cup will always be top of my priority list, every season.

Old fashioned I know but I don’t care

Absolutely, a week either side of this game negates the need for a scratch side. Of course, I want to win the FA Cup more than anything else but I'm sure the Manager doesn't share my view.

I’m not so sure, didn’t he win it with Arsenal?

No. They won it the season he was fired.

I get what you're saying but we have a squad and he won't risk a full strength side in this . It will be a blended team

This season has been incredible, but it would a major stain to go out of both domestic cup competitions at the first hurdle.  As close to full strength as possible please.  It's not like we have a lot of games in January, so no need to "rest" players.

I’d start Ederson, Foden and Grealish if they’re registered in time. Apart from the odd sub appearance it’s only the cup where we can offer them game time for a while.

Stronger than Ibuprofen?! Please be careful with codeine.
