Small Heath or Olbiyun at home would be excellent.
Absolutely no, they'll get the North Stand and one of those tramps will occupy my seat.

Small Heath away would be excellent.

Would like to see us play them in our respective current states.

They would be horrified by how much better we are than them. Might be the final nail in the coffin for their 300 fans

Whoever we get lets hope that Unai picks a side good enough to win the game.

How many times in the past ( me included) have Villa fans thought yeah letís funeral them , given the massive gap in the quality of the two sides. We all know they raise their game to unparalleled levels when it involves us. Yes it would be great to humiliate them , but given itís always us with more to lose, Iíd rather put my dick in a food blender than ever have to play that shower again.

I think we'll go seriously close to winning it this season with a Semi Final appearance at the very least.
There I've said it!

Horsham at home.
Bogarde recalled off loan and debuts.

Bogarde has already played for our first team, technically.  The Liverpool cup game in 2021.

When we drew them in 92-93 in the league cup we'd just finished 2nd and they were bobbins as usual, it still finished only 2-0 over the two legs with two late goals in each game to seal it, and they missed a penalty (lol) and had a man sent off (double lol).

Playing them in the early rounds risks us using squad players and having a repeat of that Stevenage debacle. What would be great is them fluking their way into the later rounds with a kind draw and playing them full strength with the stakes raised a bit in say a quarter final.

I'm with Franky, never want to play them again, especially in the early rounds of a cup when we tend to be absolute shite. We'd be expected to batter them, so anything other than that would be seen as some sort of moral victory for them.

Looking forward to our trip to Manchester.
Man Utd (A) , its the law
Of recent times:
We played Man Utd 2 seasons ago in Manchester  21/22 FA Cup 3rd Round and it's been consecutive years for third round draws if League Cup is aso included 22/23

This recent occurrence has perhaps led to people thinking there's going to be another era of drawing Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.

I looked into why this Manchester United thing comes up for people and such. So having done some research, I see the fact that nearly 25 years ago, four times in seven seasons, FA Cup 3rd round ties were played against Man Utd in 01/02, 03/04, and then consecutive seasons 06/07, 07/08. Quite phenomenal!

And having not had a 3rd round FA Cup tie in 13 years it's now
Drawn together once in 15 years vs. Man United.

There I've said it!
9 Years Since FA Cup Final
4 Years since a Cup Final
26 Years Since a Domestic Cup Trophy

In last 24 Seasons
2 FA Cup Finals (99/00 & 14/15)and FA Cup Semi Final (09/10)
2 League Cup Finals (09/10 & 19/20)
League Cup Semi Final (12/13)
2 Play Off Finals

Average a final of sort every 4 years.

We certainly can aim for the FA Cup, but are we sure if it's Emery's priority? The Champions League and European Conference League trophy are, I think, high on the agenda for the club, and the FA Cup is not the main target.

Villa are good enough to win a trophy this season, and I think we will and maybe it will be the FA Cup!
But I do fancy us strongly in Europe most of all.

The police advising the tie to be switched to Villa Park on safety grounds would be amusing though.

I see that the 4th round is scheduled for my birthday so, unless we get a bye in the 3rd round, I donít think itíll interfere with any birthday plans.
