I was too young to remember him as a player but his team of 95/96 was the best I've seen, and I was honoured to tell him so face-to-face about five years back.

Happy 70th, Brian.

Brian Little in the air, one of my favourite photos of him.

The buld up of excitement that preceeded Brian's inevitable appointment as our Manager may never be seen again.

Happy Birthday Brian.

It's one of the great Villa photos, can't think of many better.

Old enough to have seen him play, but too young to remember it.

Matched only by the bad feeling, bile, and general resentment in Leicester.

What a player.
Nice bloke and Villa man.
Heard Brian give a talk to the referees' association here in Loughborough when he was managing Leicester. He was amusing and engaging and nothing was too much trouble when asked for autographs, etc. Top bloke, outstanding player and Villa through and through. I will always cherish his hat-trick at Highbury when we brushed aside QPR in the 1977 semi final replay. What a night.

Indeed what a night.  I was there and I've posted before that I have no idea how we travelled there.  I asked my mate who I always went to away games with and he can't remember either.  The only thing I can think of is that we travelled in a third parties car.

Me and a mate went on a special but had no idea where Highbury was. We had no money to get in so simply asked people in the queue if they would give us 10pences and bless them they did! Fantastic memory

For the second goal there is a white flag being waved wildly - that's me that is

Brian was my first hero as a nipper, and as saft as it sounds over 45 years later he's still my hero.

You’ve gone saft.

Wales go 2-1 up, Revie takes off Channon and brings on Brian to save England blushes.
The start of an international career that was to total 20 minutes !
5:14 onwards for the Brian Little show.

Happy birthday Brian. First Villa manager I remember and one of only two that I've met. A gentleman and a legend.

Don't remember him as a player but my brother loved him. I've met him a couple of times though, lovely man.
