Our biggest threat is complacency, not just on H&V. Unai won’t allow that though.

Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne, Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Tielemans, Bailey, Watkins.

Very harsh to drop Diaby as thought he was very sharp against West Ham but Bailey has done enough for a start.

Yep, I think I'd go with that. Need to keep Bailey's confidence up, and Tielemans deserves a start as well.

My sentiments exactly.

Think Unai might find a way of giving Cash or Digne most of the game off

Digne can take a card and get the next game off. If we can get a few goals in early then maybe we can cope with a makeshift back line and give Cash a break too.

Luton will come to frustrate and make life difficult for us. They took a good point off Forest last week. But we're on a roll under El Maestro and a fully firing Villa should be too much for these. I have a nagging feeling that our 10 goals in the last two home games won't be boosted by more than a single goal. 1-0 or 2-1 to the Villa boys.

Nah. Time to shake off the shackles of pessimism and feelings of doom. I think we're going to absolutely wipe the floor with them. We'll speed to a 3-0 lead early in the second half, then properly turn the screw after that. 7-1.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it so I started the thread.
A very appropriate time, a few hours after we have chewed the previous match result, to start this. Well done.

Will be our Eldests first Mens game a Villa park, she is 10.

Been to a few ladies games, but never the mens

Hoping for a load of goals as she hasn’t seen a Villa win yet (ladies have lost every time we watched them!)

4-0, Ollie x 2, Tielemans and Zaniolo
Oh no a bit concerned about the young lady’s influence on the Villa so far😊 Could you reconsider and wait till we have secured champions league place before she watches the men’s team?

See you in the fun zone?! From midday. Do they do it for ladies games too btw?

If you see xxxx #4 and xxxx #2 shirts that’ll be me in the vicinity. Hopefully with a few others inc my cousin over from the US, whose son is doing well at College ‘soccer’ and is a villa fan :)

Have seen Luton play a couple of times this season including against 10 man Spurs. They are dreadful. If our lads are properly tuned in we will win easily. Irish winger Ogbene might cause Digne some problems but apart from that they have very little else. Might even see Rosco make another appearance at Villa Park. Not sure he will be brave enough to sit down in front of the Holte End this time.

I think there is zero chance of Diaby not starting unless injured, after sitting the whole game out yesterday. He may well play Bailey as well. It would be harsh not to plat Tielemans, but if the games going well, he could bring him on on 55/60 mins so he gots nearly half the match.
