Discovering that 5-2-3 formation led to some good results in the games afterwards too I think.

Just to let people know a stat . This season West Ham have allowed the most crosses against them in the Premier League

Good stat mate. Maybe we can get at them this way.

How many goals have they conceded from crosses though? Maybe they're doing that Leicester title-winning tactic of letting them come in because they've organised themselves enough in the box. Or maybe they 'concede' lots of crosses that are actually very speculative balls in from deep, because they're among the only old-school sit-back-and-counter teams in the division.

We also seem to get an awful lot of corners but hardly ever look like scoring from them.

These lot will be difficult to play against but I think we'll just edge it.

If we can keep JWP from having too many dangrous free kicks and keep Bowen quiet I think we'll be ok.

I dunno about that. I'd say we've had a fair few good chances fall to central defenders' heads lately but they've not taken them. Konsa and Diego Carlos certainly have, and didn't Lenglet have one against Zrinjski? It's something we could improve, but more in the finishing than delivery.

West Ham allow the opposition  the most touches in their penalty area.
Clearly a ploy.
But is encouraging.

And free kicks. It's definitely an area we can improve on. The last goal scored directly from a free kick I can recall was Lucas Digne ages ago. Now watch JWP slam one in on Sunday just to ram home the point.

Dougie scored one against spurs 3rd last game of last season, so not as far back as it seems
