Considering our injuries, 5th and averaging 2 points a game is not to be sniffed at.
Unbelievable start given the Brighton game aside I don't think we've even clicked yet . If we had a full squad dare I say it we,d be on 20 + points

Yep reminiscent of Albion under Pulis.

I still don’t like the 3/5 at the back thing

It was a back four really, with Konsa at RB, Carlos and Torres in the middle and Digne at left back.  It might go to a 3 when one of the full-backs pushes on, which is where Torres has been caught a couple of times this season and it has led to goals.

Torres pace is a big concern in this league

I don’t think so. He played against pacy players last week and did brilliantly.

He got stood up by Neto today, which was a mistake, but many players suffer that against him. Also it was more a collective failing - Neto had been kept out on that wing for plenty of time, Digne should have got much closer so it wasn’t a one on one.

I think once you get to the business end of a season and the big games , in this league nowadays a lack of pace is a killer

Antonio and Bowen going to cause loads of issues in the next game. Probably have to score three times to beat West Ham.

Praise from Danny Murphy on MOTD, whatever next. It did feel as if he was determined to do an Ollie segment no matter what, but at least they highlighted the penalty incident for the push on him.

Yes, it is the Third Law of Dynamic Motion, soon to be encapsulated in a new statistic ESLD (expected speed late doors). Laggers beware.

Emery doesn't rate the likes of the Donk, Chambers or Traore, another injury or two and we will be reliant on them.

Anyone know how Sanson is getting on in France? I would have preferred him to Tielemans and Dendoncker based on their perfromances as stand-ins this season so far.

Really missed JJ today, we had a few off the pace Luiz especially. The extra matches are having an effect on some players, the injuries at the start of the season has left us with little quality to call on. Wolves played not to lose.

I think of all the injuries, Ramsey is a big miss for us, he is a big part of the way of how Unai wants us to play

Torres pace, I don't think it would of mattered if Mings would have been chasing Neto, he would of beaten him as well.

Good point, hopefully we will win against a good West Ham side
