Was thinking a point is a fair result after 85 minutes or so, but created 3 or 4 great chances through injury time, and we really should have won it.

It was like a 1980s football match, long diagonal punts, off the ball skirmishes and whistle happy ref. not a game for the terrace view lower grounds lot.

Man City would have been chuffed to come away with a point last week from Molyneux.

We got one and are disappointed.

Shows how far we have progressed.

Had a very busy schedules. Both teams coming off excellent recent league wins.

I’ll take a point as we ain’t got a great record there.

Looked tired, but had the chances to win against an absolute rank bottom six side.

Torres lack of pace is still a worry but made up for getting skinned with his goal. Not sure how we didn't win that in the end.

Hitting the post in the last attack has spoiled it for me. If only…
Not the first time we've missed a last minute chance against wolves. Bloody annoying.

It needed Carlis to channel his inner Brendan Ormsby and deck one of their forwards.

I don't think we did enough during the game to deserve the three points, but missing those two chances in the last minute makes it feel like two points lost.  I don't blame Konsa, struck it reasonably well and on targer, but Ollie can't be missing from 8 yards out with a free header.

I was also stunned the shove in the back while Ollie was shooting didn't get the ref sent over to the monitor.  As soon as I saw a replay I was convinced it would be a penalty.

No it doesn't. Man City have a random shit result against a team every year, this season it was Wolves.

A point will do. They are crap, but they always somehow bring us down to their level, sorry #levels, when they play us. And Sa always looks like the best keeper in the world when we play them, too.

I have a feeling too that poor Zaniolo will never score a goal for us.

I hope to be proven wrong but so far in a Villa shirt, Zaniolo has been all fart and no poo

Bit harsh. He's always involved but his decision making was a bit off. Still very close for winning it right at the end.

Did we really need the three CBs to finish the game? I dunno. Wolves just gave up crossing the halfway line as soon as the red happened so felt like 5 minutes of Traore was needed to see if he could conjour up a goal out of nothing.

He was hardly involved at all today, I've rarely seen a sub have such a minimal effect on a game.

Did your river cut out, he got on the end of the corner and it agonisingly drifted across the goal and past the post.

I know he didn't have as much time but Tielemans is pretty underwhelming isn't he? I'm sure at Leicester he used to be able to drive into space but now it just seems a case he moves on the ball as soon as he gets it.

When playing 10 men it's useful to have a central player who can do that to create extra space and McGinn's the only one capable and he was having his shirt taken off most of the time.

I’d break the bank for Neto. Top player and would massively improve us in wide positions.

Disappointing we didn't get the winner with the 12/13 mins added time and the extra man. But we certainly created enough chances late on, Watkins very unlucky, maybe Luiz and Konsa should have done better with their chances. We looked a different team when McGinn pushed up next to Watkins. First half was forgettable but thought second was entertaining. Wing back setup didn't really work today. Wolves would be a very decent team if they had a striker. Hwang and Neto caused us a lot of problems.

Martinez 7 - solid yet again
Cash 5 - after a huge impact midweek he was disappointing I thought, took the wrong option multiple times in good areas
Konsa 7 - much better second half and nearly forced winner
Carlos 6 - lack of pace in his passes a real frustration, though he was struggling with about 30 to go so hopefully no I'll effects
Torres 6 - nice finish for goal but passing terrible in first half and inability to defend against pace embarassing
Digne 7 - solid again really, maybe expected more from his deliveries at times
Kamara 7 - solid display after injury and tracked Neto brilliantly when Carlos was done
Luiz 7.5 - caught in possession for build up to their goal but still best midfielder on view, disappointed maybe two of his shots got blocked
McGinn 7 - stuck into everything in midfield but showed a lot more quality when pushed further up
Watkins 7 - quiet first half but forced one brilliant save, great assist and almost the winner
Diaby 4 - utterly anonymous

Zaniolo had a shocking first 15 mins or so, finished strongly after switching with McGinn, Tielemans looked sharp, Bailey was ok. Thought Emery could have brought on Traore maybe too last 15 mins.

Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool all lost at Molineux last year. Newcastle scraped a 1-1 in the last minute.

They are improving so it's in our interest they take points off those again and Man. United. Think they said on comms they've got Newcastle next up at home so that will be interesting one as they'll be playing them off a CL game.
