Hurst Street? Why that's 2 minutes from Sherlock Street! They could go and meet some Noses. Oh!

There are loads of Zilijna fans on Hurst street. Many wearing half n half scarves.

They have just become my most hated Bosnian team and made a powerful enemy.

Wonder if they've picked up any show tunes?

Wonder could Emery be tempted to try wing backs tonight given the lack of wide options both in midfield and attack? We seem to have 5 x CBs available.

Cash, Chambers, Carlos, Torres, Digne
---------------Tielemans, Donk,
----------Zaniolo, Watkins, McGinn

Saturday just gone was going to be a good marker of where we were. League is priority, chooses best 11 available, all performed well, great result.
Today, a totally different game. Probably his second best competition but without new injuries of Kamara, Diaby and Ramsey, plus perhaps another couple of league starters having legs saved, I don’t hold up much hope .
We don’t have another pacey ball carrier, and we know Dendoncker / Tielmans not up to Douggie/Bouba level so a bit limited frustratingly. Squad still not strong enough to forge ahead on many different comps.
Having said all that I would keep EMI and best back 4 together and I’d be inclined to see Saturdays team against Wolves, not the starting 11 we’re used to in Prem as well as tonight based on availability
They can’t be any mugs being 0-3 down to Az in previous game coming back to win 4-3

Anyway I was at the Rapid game 13 years ago and the cheeky gits displayed a banner about being our worst nightmare returning……it was !
Hope these newbies don’t get so cocky tonight !

Zilijna fans?

They’re going to go nuts when they find out they’re 15 years late for the match.

I’m in town for a work bash at the motorcycle museum so sadly can’t go tonight and there are loads of Zilijna fans on Hurst street. Many wearing half n half scarves. Cops told me they love English football so this is their big game in the group. Apparently 700 here and they expect no trouble

That's nice to hear! Obviously half 'n' half scarves are an abomination but perhaps a little forgivable if, as a fan of English football, you've travelled a thousand miles to the home of the founders of the first football league.

European games, especially away games, are one of the very very few times half and half scarves are acceptable.

Hmmm that’s a borderline statement

Didn't see any Half and half scarves in that. They are off the shit-list. For now.

I loved Hurst street when I was young.  All the guitar shops and all the hippy stores😀 the smell of joss sticks and patchouli
