Bailey should be nowhere near the first team

Please elaborate.
Lightweight, can't keep the ball, can't beat a full back with the ball, useless in away games - a passenger .

He is a different player away from home.

Maybe better coming on as an impact sub?

He certainly isn't the right player for a hostile game like this

Definitely the first time I've heard a Villa player being compared to a gerbil

Fantasy Football is saying that Diaby has passed a fitness test and is available for tomorrow.

They will play the way they always do, play for a set piece or break away goal & then waste time.

Don't gift an early goal, don't start with Bailey & take our chances when they come.

It might be time we drew a game.

We're overdue both a result and performance at the Custard Bowl. Been shite there in recent years, even the El Ghazi pen in the Covid year we kinda struck lucky rather than played particularly well.

Presumably McGinn will be on the right and Zaniolo on the left.

Baileys CV at the Wolves is not good. We need someone with a bit about em tomorrow.

That's true but we dont have many options to replace Ramsey on the left. Zaniolo was very poor v Brighton in that position and moving McGinn or Diaby only causes a problem somewhere else.

Absolutely! I reckon Zaniolo is the type of player that loves and thrives in a local derby. He's come so close to scoring a few spectacular goals, hopefully tomorrow is the day he finally smashes the back of the net.

Like against Brighton, win the midfield battle and we should come home with 3 points. It will be tough so no room for passengers. Right now, despite a recent improvement in helping out defensively, Bailey can't start tomorrow.

0-2 Villa (Diaby, Konsa)
