No worries even with our star players missing we will have far too much for these dirty whipper-snappers.
Not sure about that after they beat CiŁy. They got some decent players who can hurt the high line

It's probably not the case but it feels like we've had a pattern all season of bad performance/result - reaction good performance/result - bad - good - and repeat....

This feels like the first game we're going into off the back of a great performance/result followed by an ok-ish performance but good result. I don't know what to expect!

I'm relatively confident which normally means a terrible defeat.

Fully fit I’d fancy it. As it is I think it’s a tough game.

They hate West Brom and dislike Blues. We hate Blues and dislike West Brom.

I agree, but there may be some here that argue with that analysis.

I just pity them.

Neto's a very good player. He could really hurt us if Digne gets caught upfield when we lose possession.

Beyond that though they simply don't have the quality they did even last season. Big reason our record is so poor v them recently is we could never impose ourselves on Neves-Moutinho and they'd generally control the tempo of the games.

Now their central midfield is more workmanlike and physical so we should be o.k there.

Think because of the big respect UE had for Lopetegui he overcomplicated both games last season. With Gary O'Neil in charge and them having a more basic way of playing it shouldn't be a problem.

Think we'll grind out a 1-2 win and make no mistake that would be a huge win for us when you look at the other fixtures this weekend.

Fancy Zaniolo to score in this and wind up the South Bank.

I don't hate Blues, Wolves or West Brom. They're not a threat. No local team has ever caused a rage in me like the Sky 6 and especially MC. That is real hatred. The way the rest of the league is ignored and belittled in favour of these 6 clubs gets me very angry. I don't care that a shit club down the road doesn't like us.

I fucking hate the Blues.
I'm not arsed about WBA or Wolves, they hate us a lot more, and they dream up this rivalry. It amuses me.
I dislike Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle.
I dislike Sky Sports, I'd mever pay for it, hence the reason I may watch Premier League football via a different method :)

I have a dormant hatred of Small Heath. It's a total waste of energy to spend even a moment thinking about them now. But should we ever play them again, dial that revulsion up to 11. Same for those Stripey twats, although not as much antipathy as the Noses draw.

Shots taken by defenders in the Premier League in 2023/24:

14 - Matty Cash
13
12
11
10
9 - Pedro Poro, Lewis Dunk

And no defender has scored more goals (2).

Couldn't find the Cash thread. I didn't look particularly hard though, in all honesty. He's so important to how we play, especially since Moreno has been out.

I have the exact opposite, I think Wolves are in for a real shoeing. We will win by at least 3 goals.

I see this as the danger , they are easy to underestimate and are very strong at home. Neto , Cunha, Semedo , Dawson, the keeper all excellent players and on their day they can beat anyone . We will have to be 100% for the full 100 minutes , I do think if we can score first we will win but the other way round it's going to be like last season.
