Villa Park to Boldmere
« on: September 15, 2023, 06:42:25 PM »
As a South Brum Villan, with no idea of the North, has anyone got any advice on the quickest way to get to Boldmere High Street post match tomorrow?

Advice gratefully received! Thanks.

Train from Aston to Wylde Green and a 5-10minute walk is the easiest I think.

Yup. Straight out the station, turn right down Station Road and follow it until the end where it joins Boldmere Road.  There is no Boldmere Hight Street, it's Boldmere Road but I imagine you want the bars and restaurants that are down the right at the end of Station Road. The football ground is to the left.

Nowhere near as bad as city bound. OK on a Saturday Tbf. Pretty rubbish on a weeknight though.

Depends what end of ground you sit but walking towards Perry Barr and 907 stops outside One Stop shopping centre and goes right past Boldmere.

Also the 66 stops outside the Powerleague and that's the quickest bus route from the Aston area.
