Having worked out how to get back from London train wise, in a reasonable time for the match I find out they want to shaft me for £36.50. Every day these days, I feel like someone is trying to pick my pocket. I know I'll end up going, but it's a bit annoying.
Think you've got problems - this site keeps trying to sell me ModiBodi underware for women.

You need to install Ad Block.

I've never seen an ad on this site.

Does this work on iPads? The adverts on here are driving me insane

Or sign back up to GM and then you won't get adverts on this site and still feel you are contributing to its upkeep.
I think do have GM?  I paid some money at some point, and then I did again?  I have access to the secret boards where Unai posts his tactics the day before...

Have I said too much?

If you're a GM, go to profile > modify profile > look & feel then there's a Golden Muppet theme that removes the adverts.

Increasing disconnect evident between those that run the club and the support. New COO has a big job ahead.

The more successful a club becomes the more expensive it will be to go and watch them.  The more upwardly mobile Villa become the prices are going to reflect that.

we are not a london club or a north west tourist club , we are a middle income working fan base on the whole yet we are being charged top dollar

So you'd be happy flitting around tenth, eleventh, twelfth spot then? Because that's the best that will happen keeping things on the low-level and no matter how many billions our owners may have they're not going to continue playing sugar daddy to Aston Villa for no hint of a return.  These people are billionaires for a reason, not footballing philanthropists.

FWIW, I would find it difficult to justify paying that on a regular basis so that is one benefit I have of not living in Birmingham because not being able to watch the Villa would send me into the depths of despair.  It's the way football is today, those that can afford it will pay, ever thus.
