Great half, a third early in the second half would make it a pleasant watch.

Everyone seems to know exactly what the plan is, and that plan is to be fucking awesome at football.

Look very sharp on the break and causing them all kinds of problems.  As well as the two goals, we've a number of good situations that have broken down at the last moment.

Is there a better midfield pairing in the league at the moment than Luiz and Kamara?

Yeah, as good as our attack has been, I feel like Pau has been one of the best players on the field today

Cash will clearly get all the plaudits but for me Kamara has put in an absolute masterclass there, absolutely dominant.

He's been imperious. Apart from that one passage of play where conceded possession when he just let the ball roll away from him while stationary near their box.  But easily forgiven :-)

how good is Pau , proper settling in

in Unai we trust

Was just thinking that, while he was went past a couple of times the defensive setup covered for it - and there’s no denying how threatening his direct passes are. Each time they seem to bypass multiple lines.

He looks very calm indeed, and clearly happy to bring the ball out under pressure.  Haven't seen enough of him yet to feel entirely comfortable when he wants to dribble under pressure, so it gives me the heebie-geebies, but I'm sure that will fade over time.  A very accomplished footballer.

Now that we're no longer under the radar and considered 'good' by most people, I feel like one of main things we have left that non-Villa fans don't really know about is how ridiculously good these two are. World class, both of them. Could play in any side in Europe.

That's been a cruise...should be a Hibs like scoreline at half time really. Was really anti wing backs but credit to Emery as Burnley seem clueless on how to deal with them. Our midfield is far too strong for theirs, Berge looks the competition player this week and will be surely hooked at the break. Watkins has been brilliant too. He got a fine assist but Diaby has been infuriating. That was a perfect through ball from Luiz he bottled really.

Early goal and finish them off.

The pressing from the midfield has been really impressive, hunting in packs, so effective.

We are so good and it just warms my heart.

Compare this to 18 months ago and that Fulham game that got Gerrard the sack.

Unai is the king!
