He just needs a few games to get used to this demanding League and his team mates. I can see a skilful player in there.

It was a tough debut for him, he kept running into traffic and seemed surprised at the physicality of the Palace players. Spent a lot of time off-balance or on the ground and he was frustraing the life out of me at times by not doing something progressive that worked. And then he manages to turn and pwn a Palace defender, putting the ball through his legs at the edge of the box and laying it on a plate for Cash.

He'll need a while to adjust to the pace of the PL, hopefully he's good enough to do that. Get the feeling he'll be an inconsistent type who provides a bit of genius á la Traore but we'll end-up seeing why he was shipped to Turkey. Hopefully it's not the case, as he's handsome and hairy. We need a new Villa heartthrob who's also a God on the pitch, til Joe/Jack comes back to Villa when he's 32.

It's going to take him a while to get up to speed. Looked like he was trying too hard to impress  yesterday. There were some good moments & a few questionable ones too. Probably didn't help that he would have preferred to play on the right.

My instinct from the little I have seen of him is that I want his children. He's going to be a sexy footballer for us.

I said when he turned up with his boots in a carrier bag at training he'd do for me and nothing I've seen so far has altered that view.

I'm almost more encouraged by the imperfect but promising start too, too often I've players shine from the off then fade away, I think he'll get better and better until he's absolutely bossing things.

I think we looked better with Bailey's pace Saturday but he'll find his feet. Between signing 5 potential first-teamers and Mings/Buendia/Moreno/Ramsey's injuries, I don't think we yet have the fluency that we had last season where everyone was settled. Hopefully all the games we'll be playing can help that happen sooner.

Palace at home wasnt the best of games to show himself I guess. Palace coming with the low block (if its appropriate to use that wording here) and closing down men and space there was not easy for him to use his style of playing that rely to some degree on carrying the ball. The style he is playing you get the feeling that he is vulnerable to injuries like a Mee kind of player clipping him down. Like what I ve seen of him and hope he can find his feet here and be an asset for us. Essentially he is Buendias replacement this season and for the time being seems to be of somewhat same ability and usefulness for us but with different style (and height).

That bit of play to set up the chance for Cash was excellent - great skill and awareness.

Looks like a good player.

Just needs to know when to run and when to pass, like when he could have put the Moose in during the first half.

He's had a haircut, presumably to make him go faster.
