Utterly pointless and provocative thread. OP knows exactly what he's doing, just stirring shit - par for the course.

Really?
By highlighting what's happening?
Highlighting what's happening in your head. Just lighten up mate. Despite an awful result it was not an awful performance. For about 70 minutes we were well in the game then the wheels fell off. It happens sometimes. We have a quality manager who's building a quality squad. We've not got the wealth of a human rights abusing nation behind us but I prefer what we do have.

I also think that the club has not been great with either communication or its interaction with supporter groups and the fan base in general

Emery saved them last year from a lot of criticism and enabled them to mask another large price increase, manipulation of categories, awful sponsors, and the truly terrible Terrace View idea. Terrace View seems to be being sold with massive desperation promising a way to circumvent Away ticket criteria if what is to be believed by those who Villa has contacted.  It will also look awful if it's half-full from mid-season or we have people in the bar in numbers after halftime (like club Wembley).  Someone's reputation is on the line with that so I suspect they will not allow it to fail but next year if we have an average season at £1500 or higher will be a different story

I can only assume lots of these things were actually planned under Purslow as I cannot imagine the Terrace View just happens that quickly.  This is not a reaction to the result on Saturday as we were discussing it on the way up full of optimism and frankly slept most of the time on the way back.

They have acted poorly in my view and are a bad season away from a lot of discontentment(which we are more than capable of) .  I know a lot of friends who renewed this year and really struggled to justify it with everything else going up, the monthly on an 8-month payment plan is really substantial with a couple of tickets.

I hope for better but the signs in the last couple of years are not good in my view

I’ll be honest I think most clubs are a bad season away from discontent.

I'm surprised how many people still don't understand what the Terrace View is.  It's not a block of seats (at the moment) it's just a bar.  People who have bought Terrace View season tickets will be seated randomly around the Holte upper, so there won't be any blocks of empty seats whilst people finish their pies.

Nobody ever gets sold a cold pie when the team's winning.

Yes, really. You continually focus on all of the negative aspects of the club even in light of all of the positive that has gone on in the last 7-8 months and the upward trajectory that we are on. You never post on matchday threads and you spew the most pessimistic and outlandish crap I read on here from day to day.

You're a shit member of the community and a troll that offers nothing of substance.

"A shit member of the community" blimey how old are you? I'm expressing opinions about the club which the Gent above pretty much covered.

When we've done well I've expressed my joy like after the Brighton game last season.

I wanted us to build from that but we've gone backwards and the complete lack of communication pre-season has been poor

Backwards? Why, because Purslow got canned because of a rigged badge vote that turned out to be a total farce - propping up a re-designed old badge, flipping the lion and calling it new?

Backwards, because we just broke our transfer record to attract a player who scores in their first league match and could've made zillions in Saudi? Backwards, because we now have a real manager with a real backroom support staff? Backwards, because we brought in Heck who had the 5th largest value gain during his time with the Sixers in ALL of professional sports?

You don't like the jerseys, you don't like the prices, you don't like or trust the club - we get it. If we had gotten a draw on Saturday you wouldn't have said a peep. Nothing is "not right off the pitch", we haven't been a "mess" since Purslow left. You're clutching at straws to spread your infectious misery, you can keep it.

So, Chris I presume there is no entry to Terrace view without a Holte End ticket or is it offered to ticket holders in other parts of the ground before the match?

You really should have made "What the Heck is Going On" your thread title.
