Isn't this like...prema-chure?

No I asked permission first from a moderator and was given the go ahead.

Only a week to go pretty much.

Aren't you excited?

Us 3-1 them.

Watkins, Luiz and Diaby.

Seconded. Not sure who will score, but 3-1 us, off to a flier.

Regardless or irregardless of result, i can't remember a time of being so excited about the opening game.

I think it's going to be a ripper, and genuinely I'm not that bothered if we win, just how we perform.

Trust in unai, i love this club

I’m the same. It’s a really tough game, but I’m convinced as we work our way into the season we’ll see some fantastic football and results, and if we don’t win it won’t dent my optimism.

A very tough start but we have a chance with our midfield strength.
Some one is going to win this 1 0

Start of 96-97, Sheffield Wednesday away.

Lost 2-1 thanks to two wonder goals from a player nobody heard of again.

It’s probably one of the hardest games in the league so if we get something we’ll have done well.

Opening games can be an odd indicator of seasons to come,so there's no need to be overly concerned about the result. Under this manager I have confidence he will put things right. If someone isn't performing we have plenty of experienced cover except at either end of the pitch.

1-1.

Start of 97-98. We'd signed Stan The Man. I thought Collymore and Yorke were taking us to the title!

Awful record up there. Felt they were still ultra physical even with their different shape in the friendly. Hard in the press and tackle, direct in their play. Very tough game to start with.
