Back to the topic of gloves, I noticed that Casey Palmer of Coventry the other night was wearing an upper body under garment that included a covering of the hands. I haven't seen a footballer wearing one of those before.

Hes certainly not a sulker and the ball in for the winner left me feeling romantically nourished.

I never really understand people worrying about whether players wear gloves or leggings etc.  If it doesn't impact negatively on their performance then who cares?  It's all very Roy Keane.

I completely disagree. If they're not carrying a hod of bricks, chewing a pound of lard (dripping if they're Muslim) and injecting Woodbines into their eyeballs, I think they're sub-Grant Shapps scum.
Yes fair.  I can't argue with that really.

Do you think Digne ever managed to catch him to congratulate him?

Nice touch of Digne's to make a beeline towards (if not to!) him.

If he can find his form, him and Bailey on opposite flanks must be a scary thought for opposition.

That genuinely made me laugh out loud.
