My guess is most of the click bait chatter over the last few days is largely agent generated and the delays due to agreeing a deal with the selling club as a couple of weeks ago it was stated that he wanted to join us and now he has.

I'd say Leverkusen used the Saudi interest to get us to up our offer a couple of times. Maybe the player never had any interest in joining them.

Is anyone at home to take shirt stretching pic with him?

Moreno could probably do it.

Another shit day for Flinstone as Villa prove again we are not embarrassing off the pitch. But he still has the badge issue to chew on all season. Something for everyone as they say

I reckon there will be a photo with Monchi at some point. Probably in Germany before he flies out to the US. Diaby will join up after the trip I imagine.

Wow! Diaby and Bailey are reunited!
This may bring out Bailey's best qualities. In the Bundesliga, they complemented each other so beautifully.
Diaby over Barnes or Sancho is who I would choose.
He's on another level, as is our squad.
Emery thank you.

On this announcement, I feel like starting do we finish in the top 5 and champions league thread!?
A few more signings, and we won't be stopped for top 2 or 3!

So exciting!

Say someone describe this as the first player to choose the premier league not for money.

Very Good!

Steady on for top 3. But these are signings a top 6 team could/should be making. Moussa + Watkins up top, on the counter attack, is going to be absolutely electric. START THE SEASON NOW!!

I understand the excitement but I don't think there'll be another season like last season where so many of the "top" teams struggled so badly. Arsenal (I know) and Man City were the only ones that had a consistent season. Liverpool and MUtd had big wobbles, Spurs and Chelsea had embarrassingly bad seasons. It just seems unlikely that they'll all mess up again. So I think there'll be less room for other teams this year, but then again, we were one of the best on form by the end of the season, so maybe it doesn't matter what anyone else does.
