Watching Gasperini tonight, it suddenly struck me that you don't tend to see many managers wearing jeans on the touchline.

I got to wondering last week what I'd wear on the touchlines if I was a manager? Suit and club tie, tracksuit and trainers, or smart casual?

I'd wear Morris dancing gear. Proper shit up the oppo.

I'd go for the deep sea diver's outfit, circa 1920's.

I think you’d be out of your depth with that one mate

They should make managers wear the club mascot outfits.

Don't remember seeing any of the Lion mascots at Villa Park in recent weeks.

Have they been sold to help FFP ?

They've sold off the cubs, Chelsea have bought 6.

If you did that, you'd look a bit daft so you'd need all the backroom staff and 9 subs to wear it as well so you could have a dance in the centre circle at half time. That would be tremendous fun.

Just been catching up with the U17s Euro games and a very convincing 4-1 win for Portugal against England. It's a real group of death with France and Spain in there too. France beat Spain 1-0, a good result especially as they'd been spanked 4-0 by England earlier in the week.

Monday should be interesting; England v Spain and France v Portugal.

When I was a kid the FA Cup final being a Manchester derby would have been something to look forward to and all morning and afternoon watching the build up and then match. On BBC of course. Now it's all so fucking meh and maybe have it on in the background.
