I'd say that makes Bolton favourites for the title next year.

In a similar note, my first thought when seeing the score was that Bolton will be strong contenders for a promotion place next season, so makes it more difficult for our neighbours.

Oxford have been outstanding over those three play off games, so well organised, against two free scoring teams they conceded just the one goal.

I fear they may get Rotherhamed, but it is a tremendous day for Oxford.

I see that Thogden wasn't as jubilant as he was at Olympiacos, quickly ending his vlog at full time. The massive throbber.

Why wouldn't the Premier League want there to be a blockbuster potential title-decider on the last day?

Have a look at the opening and closing day fixtures for the last few years. I think it's a 'thing' anyway, like trying to minimise travel on Boxing Day etc.

Edit: it is a thing. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/sport/football/article/top-six-given-priority-over-key-fixtures-qz9z85c90

Ah, Ok, so it's a (shit) policy rather than a conspiracy.

Old men in suits know best.

Just noticed in the FAI Cup (Irish Cup), a Villa FC are playing today.

I saw the Villa FC Irish fixture yesterday and went on a bit of a rabbit-hole researching their history.  Set up in the 1950s by some Waterford youths,  with no adults initially involved - they had to hitch hike to their first away game...  nothing I could find about their choice of club name.

Some of you may not have realised  due to lack of media coverage but today appears to be The National Juergen Klopp Day.

It goes against natural instinct but I feel like rooting hard for Wolves today.

Nah I want Sheff U to lose, they'd finish on 16 points and we'd be a step nearer disappearing off the graphic for worst ever PL sides.

I think it's important for those twats to be forever reminded what a disgrace they were. Not that it could resonate with a moron like Agbonlahor.

Makes me laugh some of these managers who that complain about schedules; right after today’s games, Spurs and Newcastle fly to Melbourne for a game on 05/22. Madness.

}~

Also if they let in 7-8 goals, they take the record we have had from the 1930's for most home goals conceded in the top flight.
