Well that's another team that can't catch us now.

The 'Man Utd late Champions League surge' talk has gone strangely quiet on Talksport and Sky as well.

And on H&V.

And on the Will We Finish Above Aston Villa? thread.

Last Entry - simply "No".

100% I often in my head look at the opposing side and ask who would be good for United but this Villa team, I just don't see it. West Ham has Bowen and paqueta but this Villa team has to be the most average mid table team I've ever seen. The fact they've spent anytime in the top 4 is mind blowing to me

The Dutch can be a bitter lot, especially when their side can't stop getting spanked by us.

So they support Manure and Ajax.

Assume they're also a die hard PSG and Real Madrid fan. I wonder what attracted them to these teams?

C'mon, he's got a point, I mean seriously, when it comes down to a choice between Bailey and Antony, or Watkins and Rashford, who are you going to go for, honestly? Same with Onana and Martinez. I know we're all Villa fans, but surely you're going to go for Antony and his no goals and one assist over Bailey and his 10 goals and 9 assists every single time.

Fuck me, what a twat.

Take no notice of most Ajax fans, they are largely football illiterates.

"Crickets if we don’t get a penalty (Højlund against Arsenal, Romero blocks Garnacho shot with arm against Spurs).

They won’t even show you the replay most of the time.

Nah man, there is a real media bias against us."

Even they complain about media bias. Seriously though, it's the first time I have checked their forum and the average level of delusion is insane. They really believe they have a squad that is much better than all the other top 6 rivals. I'd hardly take any of their players.

It says a lot that their best players this season are a couple of kids from te academy, despite them having spent a fortune.

To be fair I think they have got some good and a few very good players.

Like ours under Gerard a load are overpaid and some overrated but one thing they all are is underperforming.

If you have a scattergun approach to football recruitment and have zero planning in on pitch stuff beit coaching, style, formations then nowadays you are doomed. That's where they are.

Fist pumping just doesn't do it anymore. Ten Haag like the successful Ajax managers developed youth  from within - he is totally out of his depth in that maelstrom.

The only person who could sort it quickly is Ancelotti.

While he's not well-liked, you'd imagine a combined Villa - Man Utd XI would probably be us, plus Fernandes.

Maybe Dalot for Metty Cesh.

Yes he is an arse, but Fernandes, like palmer at Chelsea, has ensured they have finished higher in recent seasons then they actually deserved.

Noted anti-Super League zealot and all-round good guy defender of the integrity of the game Javier Tebas is saying he wants La Liga games in the US by 2025. Joder!

Yeah, he is the only one though I would definitively take. I'm not the biggest Cash fan, so maybe Dalot. So at the very best it's 2 of theirs in a mixed 11. As Paul says, for the amount they have spent it is really piss poor.

Imagine spending 75m on Antony. Or the same on Sancho - who I'll admit, has at least shown moments of great promise in all that mediocrity, but even so, 150m on that pair of twats. Then there's £45m for Onana, an absolute car crash of a crisp-packets-for-hands goalkeeper.

Throw in once decent but now badly ageing players such as Eriksen and Casemiro, who might not be the worst of players, but just look like they're cruising week in, week out and it's a mess.

Then there's the way massively underwhelming non-producers like Anthony Martial have persisted there for so long.

And these are just the non-deliverers, they also clearly have a dressing room problem with the back biting and bitching.

That squad has so many massive fucking problems, I am not sure any manager (other than ours, and he won't be going there) could walk in and turn that ship around in a hurry.

They've been so utterly fucking spawny so many times this season, if there's one club whose league position really doesn't reflect their true shitness, it is them.

Talking about Onama reminded me that De Gea has been ignored by most European clubs. I'm guessing his wage demands have just been too high.
