Well at least Man City have faced some penalties this season.

I can't believe that I live in a world when people want Arsenal and Citeh to win so we have more chance of getting Champions League football by maybe finishing 5th instead of 4th. Bizarre.

You can't believe you live in a world where Villa supporters want the thing that is potentially good for Villa to happen?

Just saying that I preferred life when you win something or didn't, and not have to rely on other teams that you'd want to lose horribly in all other circumstances to ensure you qualified for something by finishing 5th.

Worth seeking out the video of that on twitter. Truly cringemaking.

Foden also looks like Steve Coogan there.

In other news, Porto knocked our Portuguese lions out of the cup this evening. 3-1 on the night, 4-1 on aggregate.

We're only in Europe this season because Man Utd won the LC and Man City the FA Cup last season. It's not a new thing to benefit from clubs you dislike winning.

It's meant to be Guardiola driving but looks more like one of those crash test dummies.

It's definitely a new thing actively supporting those two in the Champions League for some qualification ratio though.

And if this theory is going to be consistent, we should also not be hoping that Man City and Arsenal beat Spurs later in the season.

Well I'm hoping Villa win, then I don't need to look at other results. Might be too niche though to catch on.

Watkins reckons we lack a big game mentality.

Yes, that was a load of old bollocks when he said it. My uncle, who’s a bit less obsessed than me, repeated it the next day, you know, the way people do, and I asked him how many games we’ve thrown away this season. He just stated into space for a bit trying to think of any bedsides Brentford the day before.
