That was pleasing, up to us now.

Exactly. No qualms.

Used to like Cit-eh. Not now other than old style fans.
Never minded Liverpool - better winners than ManU back in the day. Klopp's loveable Uncle routine wore thin years ago. Grates.
Arsenal - always had massive respect. Arteta is an utter twat out of his depth in big moments.

Was Haaland still on at the end of the game, so could have taken a penalty?

No, hooked for Alvarez.

Poor old TNT, they can't spin an English CL win into a fairytale made of pure bullshit.

I can't believe that I live in a world when people want Arsenal and Citeh to win so we have more chance of getting Champions League football by maybe finishing 5th instead of 4th. Bizarre.

You can't believe you live in a world where Villa supporters want the thing that is potentially good for Villa to happen?

Yeah to be honest I find it weird that anyone would want something that didn’t optimise Villa’s chances of success. Anyway it’s done, so we’ll just need to make sure we finish 4th.

I'm amazed that taking off Haaland, KDB and Grealish didn't work. It's not like they score or create goals, or can take penalties.

The Champions League final is at Wembley too, I've just been reminded. Should be a better occasion now.

It doesn't matter how many times it gets stated, it is far from bizarre. I did smile when Arsenal got knocked out but if we finish 5th then that smirk will be wiped firmly off my face. Well, it gives the remaining league games an even bigger buzz than they already do knowing how important they'll be.

Maybe after tomorrow they have one English (British)  team to Support' and it grates on them. The one being Villa.

'.....English teams, fans and media should make it clear they should not allow Aston Villa to not win the albeit 3rd European trophy. If they don't succeed we'll be a laughing stock.......'
