Just looked at the stats. Newcastle 185 passes Spuds 567. Possession 27% for the Jaudis with 5 shots on target 2 for Spuds. How's that ended up 4-0? Who cares?

How much of a boost does this give us for tomorrow?

Let's not get too excited about moving up a place on goal difference, the same thing will probably happen in reverse tomorrow! ; )

Can Emery and Arteta not shake on it before the game - Arse can win 1-0 and we'll be happy enough. It's what they'd do in Serie A ...

Oh, and howay the Toon, for the record. When Howe gets it right, he gets it right. He'd make a good England manager I reckon.

Insight regards the spurs full backs means I can forecast accurately

You’re as shit at remembering your predictions as you are at predictions.

Thats because he makes so many & then only highlights the ones that come true...

Its commonly known as the "shit against a wall" method...

This on paper was their most winnable match of whats left.

Err they’ve still got Burnley and Sheff U the last two games.
They'll both be down by then, so they'll be more relaxed  and will get something against Spurs (I'll clutch at any straw)!

Anyone lowkey worried about Newcastle? Their run-in is so easy.

That cheerleading TNT commentary of Van Der Venn overhyping him.
He's ok but nothing special outside of being pacey.
But Fletcher seems to think he's the best ever defender.
Unbelievable amount of times he was going on about him
Deserved defeat today and saw exactly same weakness v Fulham

Can't take their defence seriously.

Oh yeah….my bad.
Incorrect it's Burnley then Man City then Sheffield United.

Hopefully by then, the relegated clubs suddenly find a bit of form. It often happens. The end of season strange results. Fingers crossed

Was about to answer "not at all" until I just looked at the table. How the hell did they get up to 6th? They were nowhere. Newcastle's next three all look easy too...

Exactly! Not sure how it happened! But I am concerned.

We are 10 points clear of 6th place. They are quite clearly not catching us.

Don't worry, be happy.

Their away form is crap.

They do have an easy run-in but we will likely need 3 wins to guarantee 4th anyway. Can't see Newcastle finishing the season with 8 wins in a row.
