It's best not to overestimate how good Spurs are, or underestimate their opponents.

Chelsea will beat them in their game in hand mark my words

The problem there is that the Chelsea v Spurs game will probably get played either when Chelsea have their minds on the upcoming FA Cup semi final, or are nursing a hangover after losing it, or, more unlikely, when they have their minds on the upcoming final.
Try not to overthink it too much. They hate Spuds .

Incredibly, if Chelsea win their two games in hand they are in a very strong position to qualify for Europe.

Hope they stuff Spuds and Manure.

I can't believe they aren't under FFP investigation.

I think that kind of thinking is misplaced these days, particularly for a team with as much entitlement as Chelsea. Win, lose or draw, they'll take league position all day long over the FA Cup.

Spurs were good for about the first 15 minutes and that’s it.

They’re not a bad side but fuck me, with all this media wankery about ‘Angeball’ you’d think they were Cruyff era Ajax.

Spurs were pretty pants tbh. They ahve been really average since they beat us

Why could you only see a comfortable Spurs win at kick off then?

Im sorry but i can only see a comfortable spurs win. West ham are so bad at the back

The answer is in the post you quoted ? 😂

Someone on BBC was actually criticising their apparent lack of ability, or willingness, to try a different approach tonight. First time I've seen anything even resembling negative said about Angeball.

Agreed. They were absolutely fine, they played some decent stuff, and Postecoglou has undoubtedly improved them and that's all fine and well. But they really are like us, good, inconsistent, deficient in squad depth - only difference is our manager's work is wildly more impressive.

The big difference is the sense of entitlement. They feel like they are operating well below their station. You’d think they had multiple titles the way they go on. We, on the other hand, appreciate the journey we’ve been on and what’s possibly in front of us. We all want success and continuity of our progress. I just hope that we don’t become like them.

My only surprise with Spurs is they haven't put 2 to 3 stars above the club badge already in recognition of their achievements.

It's some fans and media that build them up, not their players or manager. And many on here felt Spurs only had to turn up tonight to win while acting like we're plucky little Villa hoping not to get twatted by big bad Man City. And then complain about the media doing the same kind of thing. It's about time we bigged ourselves up, stopped thinking small time and also stopped bigging up other clubs and being insecure.

They deserve to have 2 stars, one for each of the league titles they've won.
