Great cup time there, surprised to hear Murphy saying Eddie Howe really needed to win the tie. Is he that close to the chop from the Saudis?

I reckon they’ll be pretty close to firing up the bone grinder.

I've just seen a Tweet:

People executed by their owner this year: 31
Goals scored by Newcastle: 22

If this is true, then the bone grinder is already sucking diesel.

Good to see Blackburn’s Villa-supporting manager getting plaudits.

Chrisene did okay, although most of what the Jaudis did was down their right, and he was not really stemming the flow. Having said that, I'm not sure whether the Blackburn set-up of 3-4-2-1 helped or hindered him. He seemed to do the simple things well.
Another D Murphy gaff: halfway through the second half he said that the Blackburn midfield three had done well.

They are about to make the quarter final draw, before the games tonight kick off. Ridiculous.

Or, Seema Jaswal presents the quarter final draw, before the games tonight kick off. Marvellous.

Well done Blackburn, didn't deserve to go out.
Yes and they were the only team in the end trying to win. I noticed that the deluded Eddie said that he wanted a reaction from his team and he got it. WTF!

BBC website football headlines tonight:

Howe - desperate for FA Cup success

Few hours later

Man City drawn against Newcastle.

It probably shouldn't have, but that made me laugh.

Nice to see Archie Gray starting for Leeds after the life-changing horror tackle McGinn put on him.

A medical miracle!
