Am I alone in wondering what on earth it is Pochettino and Southgate see in Connor Gallagher?

What does he actually do well?

You are not alone, he's fucking gash and should be disciplined for his greasy ponytail alone.

He runs around like a puppy that's eaten a jar of coffee and he has little spells of fom where he is a decent finisher. That's probably enough to start for a mid-table premier league team (and him playing so much confirms that is what they are). That shouldn't ee him get England caps but you have to remember he has 15 U21 caps and that is something Southgate values far higher than he should.

Jacob Ramsey has got 16 U21 caps, but we all know who will be on the plane to Germany...

With all this kids chat, lets not forget that Liverpool started with Van Dijk, Kellegher, Robertson, Diaz, Konate, Endo and Gapko yesterday.

Sshh, that will spoil the narrative of the brave young underdogs defying the odds yet again to emerge victorious.  Just sit back and be delighted that Jurgen Klopp has won some silverware in his last season at the mighty reds and just keep your fingers crossed that they can complete the quadruple this season, just for Jurgen.

I think the more pertinent qualification for Southgate is "coached by Steve Holland in his youth"

Liverpool youngsters, my arse.

After playing for Liverpool for 5 minutes, Rhian Brewster cost Sheffield Utd 20 million quid and hasn't scored a Premier League goal in 45 plus games (as per commentator at weekend).

Most of us on H&V could equal that and would cost a lot less!!

And we'd know how to spell Ryan properly.

Is it just me or do West Ham seem to have virtually all their home games shown on tv?

I quite like that Maidstone shirt.

Was just thinking the opposite but I'm not a fan of yellow kits, especially when it's a dull shade of yellow like theirs.
