Easy to see how that points deduction has given Dyche something to galvanise Everton. If they could get points taken away every week they'd be champions of the world.

Watching all the midweek games it occurs to me how much more entertaining they are than the usual weekend stuff. Teams seem more gung-ho or collapsible under the lights somehow.

A team with a Udogie in it cant hold a lead

Very good that.

We should have a look at how much hed cost in January. Maybe make a call and ask

How much is Udogie in the window.

Sorry.

He's not on much money. K, 9 per week.

Tottenham also seem to keep bombing forward, even after they have the lead. A carefree attitude defensively, which will be fun to watch, but cost them a lot of points.
Leeds (2019/20/21) Mk II

If only it led to the same happy ending as the Leeds story.

I was thinking the same. They look a much better team these last few games. Wonder how long it will last now they're out of the relegation spots already.

If they lose to Newcastle, there's a good chance Spurs will finish the weekend in 8th place.

I said a before we played them that they'd be mid table by Christmas. They've in the middle of a tough run of fixtures.

I wonder how Spurs would have got on in this period if they hadn't lost players for various reasons. In a way it could be a blessing in disguise for Ange, because the absences coincided with them actually having to play some decent teams in quick succession. If they'd been full strength and still lost these games, there'd be no excuses.

I did watch the Spurs game last night - the commentator made me laugh

During the 1st half he was virtually comparing Spurs to the 1970 Brazil world cup winning side

Also it would seem from his comments that ANGE has invented football

Yeah. I was pleased Shearer mentioned to the commentator that overlapping full backs aren't exactly a new thing.

Yeah, Im not a fan of 'Mr Creosote', but he certainly added a bit of realism to the chap wanking over Spurs every kick "commentating" next to him...

Tbf their form had picked up before the points deduction. Conspiracy theorists might say that it was a combination of their form and how poor the 3 promoted sides are this season that enabled the panel to hand out a punishment like that.

Clive Tyldsley was the commentator, what an insufferable bellend he is. Makes me grateful for Sam Matterface.
