Pope going off injured.

Shoulder injury according to the Beeb, might be problematic for a keeper.
I will pray for Pope to overcome thy hurt.

It was only when they were lumping it long in the last few minutes that Manure managed to up their shot count above Newcastle's on-target count, and the latter was only 4.

Man U in their run of good results played mostly sides in the lower half. And even though they won many of those games they werenít convincing. In that run they got battered by the only top side in Man City. And tonight showed why they are mostly all fart no shit. They barely had the ball and should have lost by a hatful. Based on that they wonít be a legitimate threat for the top 6 let alone top 4 this season.

Man Utd truly awful, we knew that, their results have been lucky recently.

I hate to say it, but fair play to Newcastle, their players are playing on empty and just finding ways to get results.

Why does Maguire thinks heís prime Zidane and starts playing upfront whenever manure are losing and desperate?
Because he's a narcissistic twat?

Because he has a self belief in his skill, determination and will to win. Quite clearly it isnít back up by the required level of ability.

Didn't rate him at Everton or when he first joined Newcastle, but Anthony Gordon has made a big improvement in his game this season, if he keeps his present form up, has to be a possibilty for the Euros.

Itís weird to see a former England manager now just an assistant manager of a club. Steve McClaren really has been a poor manager pretty much wherever heís been.

Won the league with FC Twente in Holland, canít imagine theyíve won too many titles in their history.

ManU winning tonight would have been the best result for us. They pose no threat. Newcastle do.

I expect that Middlesbrough would probably swap their current situation for the League Cup win and UEFA Cup final run that he gave them as well.

Agree with you. Still, we'll just keep winning and there's nothing they can do about it.

Although that was when they were some of the biggest spenders in the division at the time. And for both cup competitions, they were draw specialists who mostly got through by drawing and penalties, or in the European matches drawing and winning on away goals. The fans even felt his style of play was ultimately boring and lacking in good play. Essentially he was a slightly better MON.

Yet, I don't think any Middlesbrough fan will describe that period in their history as below-par compared to everything that had happened before or has happened since.
