I might be in the minority, but he joined us on a free, gave us three great years, won us a major trophy, and left the club in a better position than when he joined, all while earning us a decent fee - so he goes with my reluctant thanks.

Obviously I hope the worst for Man Utd as a club, but I hope he does perfectly well in a struggling side while being paid his massive contract for the next five years.

If he scores against us and kisses that badge, then all bets are off…

Sorry, I can't let this stand. He joined us from relegated Leicester in May 2023 after we finished 7th having demonstrated top four form from November 2022 to May 2023.

It's not like he  joined us in 2017 and dragged us back to the top flight.
