Hi I’m sure I’ve got a digital ID Ive only been in Oz for 6 years and prior to to that was a season ticket holder coming down from North Wales. Fingers crossed I’m tempted to get one from a scalper but can’t quite bring myself thanks for the advice.

Hopefully something will crop up today - the Facebook group on which the advice that today might be a good day to keep checking, people were saying a few cropped up throughout the day yesterday.  Fingers crossed for you.  I would get logged-in in advance to make the process slicker too.

They are regularly drifting through this morning but there are clearly a few people trying as they go instantly. They keep disappearing before so click through! Grrrrr!

They go so quick EVERY time that I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t bots. The resale sites have tickets at £150-£200 in suspiciously similar areas to those that disappeared instantly this morning!

Ah well last live match I saw was Villa Leeds in Brisbane ironic isn’t it I’m on the North Wales coast so it looks like I’ll have to entertain a gooners fan on Sunday thanks again for all the advice

That is what I suspected.
I did a few quick repeat refreshes at various times in the morning, and a couple of times a seat came up, but as soon as I then clicked on select seat button an error message came up, and nothing was available.
The club should cancel any tickets that  pop up on resale sites.

Some tickets still dribbling through. Generally disappear almost instantaneously. Did get as far as being able to select a blue seat, but by the time I clicked it came up seat not available.

I will carry on dipping in every now and then. Might get lucky.

I managed to get one when they dropped the whole of R1 at once. However, it was snapped up suspiciously quickly, like within 2 minutes for a few hundred tickets. Amfy's suggestion that it's likely bots at play seems likely to me

Forgive my ignorance but how would a bot be able to navigate its way through the process of ticket purchase quicker than a human?

I don't understand the full science behind it, but in theory, you can write a computer programme to refresh constantly, then click the buttons required to purchase all within a second or two of the ticket being onsale. There's various methods the ticket brokers use to combat it, but I think in practice they just keep writing more complicated programmes to get around it

I'm sure this is answered elsewhere on the forum but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere so any advice would be appreciated.

I have misplaced my season ticket and need to find a way of contacting Villa Park to have a ticket emailed to me. The ticket line isn't open today and I've repeatedly messaged the Villa Ticket Helpdesk on Twitter but they're not responding. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Thanks

Ticket Office is closed today but open again @ 10.00am in the morning so I am sure they will sort out your ticket then

Get to ticket office in plenty of time and there shouldn't be a problem. I rocked up for a game earlier in the season with old out of date season ticket for some reason. they simply cancelled my season ticket having established it had not been used and issued a paper one. They seemed to be used to this happening.
