I live in Wolverhampton and usually fucking despise losing to these but I'm all rather relaxed after this one. I think it's probably my optimism for what's going on behind the scenes with the DOF and our Summer plans.

Yeah, there have been more appropriate times to lose hope. That’s what I’m telling myself tonight anyway.

Nice to see Carlos get on. The only thing that could genuinely bring me down about this season is losing Emi in the summer.

I genuinely cannot see that happening, not this summer or the next.

Fed up of getting beat at that place, horrible day. We were just very passive, the energy wasn’t there. The ball want going for us and we couldn’t really create anything. We are having a little blip, but I do think we will beat Spurs, will that be enough? Who knows? Anyone on here who was on my train talking about crap 70s game shows and Sunday TV, enjoyed it gents made my day! Angel delight and That’s Life on a Sunday evening, quality!

I wonder did Prince William get a chance to check the score yet.

Oh well, if there's an upside it will hopefully have shown the club that minor tinkering with the squad isn't going to cut it for next season. There are players who just aren't good enough full stop, and there are those who are inconsistent and need better players to compete with them for places.

Can't wait for the summer. UTV.

Thought we were by far the better of two tired, ordinary sides. They offered little but we just looked leggy and lacking imagination in the final third.

We really need an upgrade in most of the forward positions but our options will be l8mited as we throw away the European places. Pretty disappointed as that’s two narrow losses where could and should have done better.

Thought we played well today. But we didn’t take our chances. Wolves…wow. Small time or what. They played that game like it was there cup final.

I’m sure Unai knows…Traore & Bailey don’t work anything like hard enough for him and he won’t like the amount of easy possession Buendia gives away being too panicky.

Personally be happy for Buendia to be a bench option to a better player, would also hope Bailey & Traore are dispatched.

Woeful? We drew at bogey team Brentford and beat Fulham before these two defeats.

They are only behind the Manchester clubs in home form this year too.

We’ve lost two away games against teams in good form at home. Not ideal, but hardly woeful.

How did Carlos play?
Slotted in nicely, and can pass the ball much better than Ezri, I can see him & Tyrone being the pairing when he's fully fit.
Ezri did well at right back, which is good to know.

He played quite well there in our first season back under Smith, post lockdown.

In Emery's system with a 4 reverting to a three, Konsa would do fine there, but he's not a normal full back.
